How it works

Rent, paid by card, in three steps

  1. 1

    Add your rent

Tell us your rent, your due date and your landlord's email. It takes a couple of minutes.

  2. 2

    Pay with your card

Use your Visa or Mastercard and earn your card's rewards on rent. You get a text receipt right away.

  3. 3

    Your landlord gets paid

We send your rent by Interac e-Transfer. Your landlord doesn't need to sign up for anything.

Secure payments

Your card details go straight to our PCI-compliant payment processor. Payzy never sees your full card number.

Text receipts

Get a text as soon as your payment goes through, with the rent, the fee and a reference number.

Rent reminders

We text you before your rent is due, so you don't miss a payment.

Nothing new for your landlord

Your landlord gets an Interac e-Transfer. They don't need to sign up or change anything.

Why Payzy

Make your biggest bill rewarding

Rent is usually your biggest monthly bill, and most landlords don't take credit cards. Payzy lets you pay it with your Visa or Mastercard, so you earn your card's rewards and get until your statement is due to pay, while your landlord gets paid by Interac e-Transfer like always.

  • Visa and Mastercard, credit or debit
  • One clear fee, shown before you pay
  • Pay from your phone or computer

Your card is charged $2,035.00 a month ($2,000.00 rent + $35.00 fee). Rewards are counted on the full charge.

To cover the 1.75% fee, a card needs to earn at least 1.72%. Paying by card can still help you reach a welcome bonus's minimum spend, or give you until your statement is due to pay.
